How to Enable Aero Glass in Windows 8.1 Update 1

We all know that Microsoft has added a new theme "Aero Lite" in Windows 8 testing builds which is considered as a replacement for existing "Windows Basic" theme in Windows Vista and 7.

and as you know The latest build of Windows 8.1 Update 1 has leaked, revealing many of the changes that Microsoft hopes will make Metro less painful for desktop users.

If you were a fan of the Aero visual style on Windows 7 and Vista with transparencies, blur, glow and other fancy effects, you would surely have missed it on Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. Many people were disappointed that the sleek, transparent glassy look of Windows 7 with rounded corners, glossy buttons and blur was gone in Windows 8 and replaced with flat, opaque colors without even as much as a gradient to make things look nicer. Well, you can have it back on Windows 8.1.
 

Steps to Enable Aero Glass in Windows 8.1 Update 1

 1-WIN+R and type regedit

go to the following directory: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows

-right click on 'Windows' and select New > Key and name it DWM.
4-
create a Dword 32bit values and name it HideBlur.
5-
change the value to 1.
6-Restart and voila
