Been keeping up with the Windows Blue news? The forthcoming OS update has been the talk of rumors for several weeks now, and we just saw an early build of it leak out. A lot of Microsoft fans have been wondering just how it might arrive when it becomes publicly available, expected to happen late this summer. While it’s not set in stone, it’s currently looking like Blue could arrive as Windows 8.1.

If Microsoft indeed names the update Windows 8.1, she said the "next couple of annual Windows client refreshes (may) have an 8.X name when they roll out over the next few years."
so may windows phone 8.1 look like this.

Windows Phone 8.1, a new "concept" WP style.

What do you think?
- Notifications on the lock screen to scroll.
- separate volume control for calls and Multimedia.
- selection of default search engine (Google, UC Browser, etc).
- greater control of multitasking, notification center, etc.. Nice it isn't.

But sorry to break your illusions because this is just a concept of one user and not thereality, but there are some very interesting ideas that surely everyone would like to see in Windows Phone 8.1 (Blue).

According to the cited sources, the Blue update for Windows Phone 8 will be officially announced this year in june or august , in next BUILD 2013 conference in San Francisco.
